Every Chaddock seat cushion is engineered with a suspension system built for that piece — our craftsmen are practiced in 8-way, hand-tied spring construction as well as flat-webbed construction, and every cushion option below reflects decades of upholstery tradition.

Unless otherwise specified on your purchase order, each item ships with its standard default cushion construction. All cushions can be modified to soft, firm, or extra-firm support at no additional charge — simply specify at the time of order.

Soft Support
Where it's used Standard on leather sofa, loveseat, chair, and sectional styles; optional on fabric styles unless otherwise specified in the price list.
Construction
A blend of 50% polyester fiber and 50% duck down and feathers surrounds a soft foam core, encased in a down-proof ticking.
Soft support; beauty wrinkles — requires fluffing and turning.

Where it's used Standard on fabric and leather ottomans; optional on fabric sofa, loveseat, chair, or sectional styles. Recommended for bench or longer cushions.
Construction
A polyurethane foam core wrapped with 100% polyester fiber and encased in an exclusive ticking — a quieter, more economical alternative to down.
Soft support — requires fluffing and turning.

Relaxed Spring Down

Medium to Firm
Where it's used Standard on fabric sofa, loveseat, chair, and sectional styles; optional on leather styles unless otherwise specified in the price list.
Construction
A core of individually pocketed spring coils, encased in a lighter, softer-density foam for a more relaxed give, with fiber applied to all sides. Filled into an exclusive down-proof ticking with sewn channels generously packed with a 50/50 down and feather blend.
Medium to firm support — requires turning and care.

A core of individually pocketed spring coils, encased in a denser ultracell foam for firmer, more structured support, with fiber applied to all sides. Filled into an exclusive down-proof ticking with sewn channels generously packed with a 50/50 down and feather blend.

Construction
Similar in construction to Relaxed Spring Down. This unique spring and fiber fill gives the look and feel of natural down while providing the durability and reliability of synthetic fiber.
Medium to firm support — requires turning and care.
A note on care. Down and down-blend cushions will develop natural wrinkling with use — this is the character of the fill, not a flaw, and is easily refreshed by regular fluffing and turning. Spring-core cushions should be turned periodically to maintain even wear.
